Title: The Newest Cartwright - Book 1

Summary: In this short story, we are introduced to Sarah Cartwright, the nine year old cousin of Adam, Hoss and Joe. She is the much younger sister to Will Cartwright and, of course, Ben's niece. More stories to follow very soon, as she begins her life on the Ponderosa, after the death of her widowed Father, Ben's brother, John, the previous year.....

Title:A Matter of Size - Book 3

Summary: It's a MUST that these stories be read in their release order ("The Newest Cartwright" being the first, as a 'background and introduction story' to Sarah) as in this Second Story, of the continuing saga of Sarah Cartwright, we learn that Sarah is a little more of a "force to be reckoned with" as she begins to prove her worth as the newest "little rancher" on the Ponderosa..."
My personal 'hard copies' of all my stories are 'colour illustrated', with scene captures from various Bonanza episodes. I hadn't really quite finalized what Sarah would look like, till I saw an episode from the Fourth Season again, after ALL these years, called "Gallagher's Sons", a story about two orphaned sisters that Hoss comes across.
In the first thirty seconds of that episode, when I saw the young actress who played the younger, brunette, 'little sister' , I thought "THAT'S my 'Sarah' ! "- just the way I had envisioned her - a real cute, 'spunky', little frontier girl.
Now you'll know what she looks like - just like all the other Cartwrights. :)

Title:The Rustlers - Book 4

Summary: A gang of cattle rustlers have been 'doing damage' to the herds of the ranches surrounding Virginia City. In this story, we find out just what the Cartwrights do about that, and how Sarah truly proves her 'spunk', and worth, as the Ponderosa's 'youngest rancher'.

Title:Star Light, Star Bright - Book 6

Summary: In this SECOND STORY OF A TRILOGY, ("The Fight for Sarah" being Part One ), Sarah is practising towards winning the barrel racing contest at the upcoming Virginia City Rodeo, just weeks away, so she can try to get her Pa a real nice birthday present. But, other things are happening, in the background, in her world....
An innocent enough question she asks her Pa, one day, sends them both on a quest to find out if her Ma really DID die - as Adam was told - or not.....
In one of my other stories, I mentioned that the young actress who played the younger, brunette 'little sister' in the fourth season episode " Gallagher's Sons " also 'plays' my 'Sarah' in my stories. Thought that the young actress fit the bill perfectly, and was just as I had envisioned ' Sarah'. And, strangely enough, she DOES look a LOT like Adam, too .... ;)
Whenever her Mother, ' Beth ' is mentioned in my stories, she is 'played' by the same actress that played Rebecca in " The Way of Aaron ", also from the fourth season.
I always thought that she and Adam made a really nice looking couple, and was just the sort of woman Adam would have fallen for. Just a nice, down-to- earth sort of a young woman, with a sort of sweet innocence about her, somehow.
Now you know what Beth looks like, too ! :)

Title:A Tale of Two Horses - Book 7

Summary: With an aging gelding of his own, and after the death of Little Joe's pony, it's up to a twenty year old Adam to go looking for a new mount not only for himself, but for his eight year old brother, Little Joe, too. This is a 'retro' story of how Adam and Little Joe came to get Sport and Cochise.

Summary:In this FINAL INSTALMENT OF THE TRILOGY ("The Fight for Sarah " being Part 1, and " Star light, Star bright " being Part 2 ) we pick up the story line begun in those two previous tales. With a couple of close scrapes thrown in - including a runaway buckboard and a driverless, out of control stagecoach - and an ultimatum given to a pair of 'unyielding people' - we see that Adam can just about handle anything, as he plans, and builds, for his future, and the future of his family.

Mayhem ensues when Adam and Beth's eldest daughter, Sarah, spots an old homestead on the Ponderosa, that is rumored to be haunted, and draws just about the whole family into a real paranormal adventure...
